Grading Policy
Projects will be graded with various rubrics (click on link below to view a sample rubric).
The quarterly grade will be based on:
Participation is based on:
Graded rubrics may be brought home.
It is preferable to keep some artwork in school until June.
Work is kept “in house” for various art shows and exhibits that occur during the year.
If students wish to revise a project to raise their grade, they have one week from the due date to do so and it must be done on their own time.

- Projects 80%
- Effort & Participation 20%
Participation is based on:
- communication (accepting feedback, giving constructive feedback to others, and participating in class critiques).
- being on task (working actively and daily on assigned projects)
- preparedness (assignments must be ready for review on the date of deadline)
- work habits (promptness, working immediately upon arrival, meeting deadlines, cleaning up/maintaining workspace)
